Agreeing and disagreeing with opinions

expressions that are used to ask about opinion:
− What do you think about.…? / are you against or for....? /Do you think
that…….?
− What’s your opinion about…..? /Do you really believe that…..? / How do
you see…….?
− Are you absolutely sure that….? / How do you feel about….? /What are
your ideas about…..?
− Am I right in thinking that…? / don’t you think that……?

• Informal way:
− to be honest……./ I feel
that……../ I reckon……../ I don’t feel……./ if you ask me……./ to my mind……/ I
guess……../ the way I see it is……./ what I reckon is…………
• Formal way:
− it seems to that…../ I
would argue that..../ I don’t agree that......./ I’m sure that……/ I’m convinced
that…./ I strongly believe that……/ from my point of view…. / I tend to think
